Hello!
My name is Keller Bowman, and I am a passionate technical artist with a keen eye for innovation and a deep love for interactive experiences. My work blends creativity with technical expertise, allowing me to develop immersive solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible.
I started Distant Lands in 2018 out of a desire to see game developers grow. I had been using the Unity Asset Store as a customer for several years at this point and wanted to see how my low poly 3D modeling could benefit other developers.

What I Do
With experience in Unity development, editor tool creation, shader design, and UI/UX, I specialize in crafting dynamic systems that enhance gameplay and storytelling. I believe that everyone has a story to tell and I believe that my work makes it possible to share this story with aesthetic graphics and robust gameplay.
I quickly realized that my favorite thing to do as a developer is to work directly with the users. Through understanding the ways that my assets are used, I believe that my products can become greater than I could make them on my own.
Because of this, I place a high emphasis on meeting with and developing an understanding of the "user" or the developers that use my assets.
